Position:  Bookkeeping Assistant

Hours:  Part-time position, with opportunity for full-time and advancement

Location: Jupiter, FL


Become part of our growing QuickBooks consulting firm. We are looking for someone to provide bookkeeping and clerical functions to support daily operations, including recording and processing business transactions for multiple clients.


Job duties may include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Update and accurately code bank, credit card, loan and other account ledger transactions
  • Process Accounts Payable, new vendor setup/maintenance, vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies, communicate with vendors for follow-up and problem resolution
  • Process Accounts Receivable, including billing, preparation of monthly statements, collection, new client setup/maintenance
  • File maintenance
  • Perform other tasks as required


The ideal candidate will be a non-smoking, skilled and proactive team member with previous experience with QuickBooks software.


Required Skills:

  • Microsoft Office - Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Productive when working independently in the absence of direct supervision
  • Excellent client service and communication skills


In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be dependable, exhibit professional behavior and appearance in an office environment.


Required experience:

  • Minimum Bookkeeping Experience: 2 years
  • Minimum QuickBooks Experience: 2 years


Desirable certifications:

  • QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor Certification
  • QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification
